To support the growth of a global OEM, Marand partnered with Carbon Revolution to develop a highly automated composite lay-up line.

The result: a 20-robot solution that delivers repeatable, high-throughput production of advanced carbon fibre wheels.

Flexible Palletising Across Multiple SKUs

Integrating the output of Nestle’s KitKat wafer machine, to automate the transfer and handling of biscuit wafers, the movement of product stillages, and the placement of wafers into stillages for a multiple of product variants improved output, reduced waste, and removed repetitive tasks for staff.

Traceable Precision Machining

To enhance precision and traceability in complex part machining, Marand delivered advanced 5-axis CNC fixtures for BAA Trim Cell. The system features in-process probing and integrated database logging to ensure consistent quality and full traceability.

We specialise in Rail Life Extension & Overhaul, with proven delivery of zero-touch bogie overhauls, high-throughput wheel reprofiling using MES-integrated tandem lathes, and rigorous safety-critical inspection and testing.

When BHP Billiton were planning for construction of a new service facility for their fleet of iron ore freight wagons, their vision was for it to be the most advanced of its kind in Australia.
