Marand Precision Engineering (“Marand”) today announced its partnership with Grey Innovation, supported by the Victorian Government and Advanced Manufacturing Growth Centre (“AMGC”), to manufacture NOTUS Emergency Invasive Ventilators in support of the Australian and Victorian Government’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The program has an initial potential order volume of 4,000 units. The initial order for 2,000 units for the Australian Government, with the first units expected to be delivered in June, has commenced initial prototyping. The Victorian Government has announced its intent to order a further 2,000 units.

We have the engineers, the capability and 50 years of manufacturing experience, so when the Victorian Government connected us with Grey Innovation, we were able to respond and mobilise immediately. Under the proposed partnership arrangement, Marand, together with the other program partners and our combined local supply-chains, will manufacture and assemble thousands of critical parts for the NOTUS Emergency Invasive Ventilator Program.
